About Us
Victoria
Victoria Oshinusi is an Edge Certified sustainability designer and artist with a background in architecture and a passion for sustainable urban development. She believes that our health as individuals is deeply connected to the health of our relationships and our connection to wider built and natural ecosystems.
She therefore seeks to understand the global and local systems that impact the built environment and how they shape the the resources we produce, consume and waste.
We are driven by the key value that everyone and everything is connected. If the objects and environments we design are artefacts of systems we have authored, how can natural systems inspire healthier, happier relationships and creative contextual solutions to the environmental challenges we face?
Who we are
Wearthly.Studio is an interdisciplinary design studio founded by Victoria Oshinusi in 2022.
We aim to use design as a tool for communication and positive, sustainable development. We aim to create impact and joy by connecting people with thoughtfully and conscientiously designed spaces and we aim to foster collaboration and education around systems based approaches to sustainable, resilient design thinking.
Vision
Cities are complex, living, breathing, organisms in which we all have a role to play. Our vision is to see African cities become better connected, increasingly resilient and thrive.
Mission
Our mission is to use sustainability thinking to create more inclusive, socially equitable, environmentally responsible and economically robust communities that meet the needs of thier inhabitants. Human and otherwise.
