African Water Cities explores the challenges and opportunities associated with these cities as they deal with the intersection of 2 contemporary phenomenons; Africa’s rising rates of urban population growth and the effects of climate change. These challenges are a daily reality, impacting 7 key areas of development and are particularly evident in coastal African cities that are grappling with coastal erosion, intensified rainfall, and increased flooding.

The Impact

African Water Cities, is an anthology of literature, data photography, and artworks. Through these means, the book facilitates the dissemination of vital information on resilient climate change adaptation in African cities. Through effective engagement, we engaged the contributions of a range of industry experts to the topic of African Water Cities. By transforming intricate data sets into visually compelling narratives, We empower stakeholders to grasp the nuances of these challenges, fostering a deeper understanding that is crucial for informed decision-making.
